Research Data Centre Education – ICCS data for research and teaching

Use of ICCS data for your own analyses:

The data from ICCS is made available to all researchers after the publication of the international report.

The international data sets from previous cycles can be accessed here: www.iea.nl/data-tools/repository/iccs. Further, this page provides access to the IEA IDB Analyzer, a software tool that can be used to reliably perform standard analyses.

Use of survey instruments for your own studies

For German-speaking countries, the instruments from the last two cycles (ICCS 2016 and ICCS 2022) have been prepared and made available by the national study centre for the Research Data Centre in Education (FDZ Bildung). If you would like to use instruments for your own research and publish the results, please contact www.iea.nl/data-tools/using-study-materials for information on legal approval. Use in projects without publication (e.g. for self-evaluation) is possible without further approval.

Select the “Studies” section from the menu and then search for “ICCS”.
