Poster: What's gender got to do with it?

Paper presentation at the workshop “Political Socialization in Turbulent Times”

How do socially challenging times affect adolescents? This was the question addressed by the workshop “Political Socialization in Turbulent Times” at Goethe University Frankfurt, in which Sophia Jendrzejewski and Prof. Dr. Katrin Hahn Laudenberg took part.

As part of the workshop, Sophia Jendrzejewski presented the article “What’s Gender Got To Do With It? Analysing Gender Gaps in Pro-Environmental Orientation among Adolescents”, on which she is currently working together with Cristina Greculescu and Katrin Hahn-Laudenberg. The paper examines the role gender plays in environmental attitudes and how this influences adolescents’ self-efficacy. The presentation facilitated an in-depth exchange with international researchers and provided valuable insights for the further development of the project.

The workshop brought together researchers from various countries and offered insights into current research on democratic attitudes, political efficacy and the conditions for political participation among adolescents.
