Accessibility Statement
ICCS Germany is committed to making its website at https://www.iccs-germany.org accessible. This statement documents the current level of accessibility in accordance with the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG) and the WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines.
Accessibility Status
- The website is fully navigable using a keyboard.
- Skip links allow direct access to the main navigation and primary content.
- All images include descriptive alternative text (alt text).
- The website provides contrast and text size adjustment controls.
- The semantic structure of the site (header, main content, navigation, footer) is consistently implemented.
- The website has been tested with screen readers (VoiceOver on Mac, NVDA on Windows).
- Currently, there are no forms, tables, audio, or video content that require accessibility features.
Exceptions
Should new multimedia content or complex documents be added in the future, these will be made accessible in accordance with WCAG standards.
Ongoing Improvement
- ICCS Germany regularly reviews and updates the website’s accessibility and will continue to improve accessibility whenever content or features are updated.
- Feedback from users with disabilities is welcome to help enhance accessibility further.
